The Phoenix Suns have waived guard Daeqwon Plowden from this two-way contract. The Suns acquired Plowden from the Atlanta Hawks as part of the seven-team trade that brought Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green to Phoenix.

Plowden saw limited NBA action with the Hawks last season. In 43 G League games with the College Park Skyhawks, Plowden averaged 15 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

The Suns now have two open two-way spots on their roster. Each NBA team is allowed up to three two-way players. C.J. Huntley is signed to a two-way spot with Phoenix.
