Jessica Simpson’s 6-year-old daughter, Birdie Mae, was the spitting image of her famous mom when she dressed up as the pop star for school spirit week.

“Today is dress as your favorite artist for spirit week at school and Bird wanted to dress up as meeeeee,” the singer, 45, shared via Instagram on Thursday, October 9, alongside photos.

In honor of the special occasion, Birdie channeled her inner pint-size diva by rocking a black graphic T-shirt featuring the cover art for her mother’s debut album, Sweet Kisses, which topped the charts in 1999.

She kept on trend with cut-off shorts and glittery silver cowboy boots, channeling the Dukes of Hazzard actress’ country-meets-glam energy. She added a bit more sparkle with a bejeweled necklace, earrings and rings as she posed by the microphone in their at-home studio.

“She is absolutely adorable! I love the outfit,” one fan sounded off in the comments section. “Gorgeous little girl like her mama ❤️,” another wrote. “Pop princess genes 🧬 💞💫 so cuteee,” a third replied.

Birdie is one of three kids that Simpson shares with estranged husband Eric Johnson. Simpson is also mom to daughter Maxwell “Maxi” Drew, 12, and son Ace Knute, 11.

Earlier this month, Simpson stopped by the Jennifer Hudson Show, gushing about her children’s talents and them all being musically inclined.

“My youngest can belt her brains out. Like, she has got the power and I don’t know Megadeth or, like, full on gospel, but she’s got the lungs,” Simpson said of Birdie on the October 2 episode. “Maxwell, my oldest, has, like, perfect pitch. My son has perfect pitch. It’s kind of wild when you [hear] them humming along. I’m like, ‘Wait, I can’t even do that riff.’”

“I love being a mother,” she added. “They teach me more than I teach them.”

Simpson also shared that her kids are always rooting her on. “The kids are very proud of me. They’ve supported me since I started going out to Nashville,” she added. “They knew I was following my dreams and they saw how happy it made me and how much peace it gave me.”

The singer and Johnson, 46, were married for 10 years before announcing their split on January 13.

“Eric and I have been living separately, navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” Simpson shared in a statement at the time. “Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”

Johnson was spotted sans-wedding ring in November of last year, as Simpson appeared to embrace her new era, teasing a “comeback” to music with a cryptic Instagram post.

“Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic,” she wrote. “This comeback is personal. It’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve.”
