Dance steps aren’t the only thing on Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck’s minds these days.
As the competition continues to heat up on Dancing With the Stars, both contestants can’t help but feel a little mom guilt as they try to be fully present in the ballroom.
“Oh, my gosh, yes! There’s so much [mom guilt],” Leavitt, 32, exclusively shared with Us Weekly after her Disney Week performance on Tuesday, October 7. “Even tonight, my daughter was here. She’s like, ‘You’re not coming home with me?’ We just did this so of course there is, but I have so much support from my husband at home that helps me be able to do this. I’m very grateful.”
During Tuesday’s episode, Leavitt and her partner, Mark Ballas, danced the foxtrot to “The Room Where It Happens” from Hamilton.

Before getting her scores from the judges, the reality star was able to give her daughter, Sedona, 5, a big hug as she sat front row in the audience. (Whitney also shares Liam, 3, and Billy, 11 months, with husband Connor Leavitt.)
“I just want them to believe that they can do anything that they put their mind to,” Whitney told Us when asked to share what she hopes her kids take away from her Dancing With the Stars experience.

Her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives costar Affleck, meanwhile, teamed up with her partner, Jan Ravnik, and performed a jazz routine to “Friend Like Me” from Aladdin. Affleck, 26, revealed she too has mom guilt.
“It is the realest thing,” she told Us after her dance. “And guess what? Whether I was doing Dancing With the Stars or not, mom guilt would still be there, and it will always be there. That’s definitely a sign you’re a good mom because you’re trying your best, and you want to be better every single day — for them, for yourself, for everyone.”
Jen shares Nora, 3, and Luca, 2, with husband Zac Affleck. The couple welcomed their third child — a baby girl named Penny — in July.
While her kids may be too young to fully understand what Jen is up to, she hopes that once they get older, “they remember this happy version of their mom.”

Ravnik, 30, added, “And that she’s a superstar.”
As the remaining contestants prepare for Dedication Week on October 14, both Jen and Whitney continue to receive support from the MomTok community.
Although there may be drama brewing in the season 3 trailer, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast appears to be putting any conflict aside to cheer in the ballroom.

“Every single week, they’re sending us messages and posting, which we appreciate,” Jen previously told Us. “We need all the votes that we can get.”
Whitney added, “It’s always the fire emojis, the disco balls, the ‘Yes, queen, slay queen. You guys crushed it.’ They’re very supportive.”
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
