Bayern Munich made light work of Pafos in the Champions League on Tuesday to continue their fine start to the season. The Bavarians boast a 100 percent record across all competitions ahead of this weekend’s trip to Frankfurt.
Eintracht have also opened the Bundesliga campaign in positive fashion, so Bayern will not necessarily have everything their own way in this one.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich predictions
Bayern Munich fans could not have asked for a better start to the season.
As well as winning each of their first five league games to set the pace in Germany, Bayern have taken six points from the first six available in the Champions League.
Their latest success on the continent came in the form of a 5-1 victory over Cypriot outfit Pafos. A comfortable victory was expected given their opponents’s inexperience at the highest level of the European game, but Bayern still had to go out there and do the business.
Vincent Kompany’s men essentially got the job done in the opening 35 minutes. With that many minutes on the clock Bayern were 4-0 up, and although Pafos reduced the deficit by scoring on the stroke of half-time, the result was never in doubt.
The match played out exactly as Kompany would have wanted. Bayern’s healthy advantage at the interval allowed them to take their foot off the gas in the second half.
None of Luis Diaz, Harry Kane or Michael Olise completed the game, with all three forwards given a few minutes off ahead of Saturday’s showdown with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Another attacker, summer signing Nicolas Jackson, scored his first goal for the club. And the four-goal winning margin sent Bayern to the summit of the standings. The only thing missing was a clean sheet.
Frankfurt were also involved in a 5-1 game on Tuesday – but theirs left them feeling glum rather than giddy.
Dino Toppmoller’s team were thumped by a resurgent Atletico Madrid. Like Pafos, Frankfurt were in effect out of the game at half-time having conceded three goals in the opening 45 minutes.
It was not a good night for Frankfurt, but they have had a broadly positive start to the campaign. They won their first Champions League outing 5-1, thrashing a Galatasaray side that has just beaten Liverpool.
In the Bundesliga, they are fourth in the table having won three and lost two of their first five matches.
Bayern should not expect a straightforward 90 minutes at Deutsche Bank Park. They drew 3-3 at that stadium last term, and a similar result this weekend would give Borussia Dortmund the chance to move level on points with the champions in top spot.
An away win, on the other hand, would be another statement from this in-form Bayern team.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich betting tips
Bayern Munich will aim to maintain their 100 percent start to the Bundesliga season against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Bayern to march on
Bayern Munich were excellent going forward throughout last season, averaging 2.91 goals per game in the Bundesliga.
They have continued in the same vein this time around. In all competitions Bayern are scoring 3.5 goals every 90 minutes. In the Bundesliga alone it is 4.4 per match.
That is not sustainable, but Eintracht Frankfurt will struggle to keep Kane and co. quiet. After all, only Werder Bremen have conceded more goals than Toppmoller’s charges.
The flip side of that is Frankfurt’s position as the second-highest scorers in the division, behind only Bayern.
Goals at both ends is an obvious pick here. Pair it with a Bayern victory for maximum value.

Expect goals in Frankfurt
Eintracht Frankfurt cannot be accused of being boring.
Their five games in the Bundesliga in 2025/26 have yielded an extraordinary 30 goals. On average there has been a strike every 15 minutes in matches involving Frankfurt.
Bayern Munich’s encounters have also been high-scoring, albeit with most of the goals coming at one end.
Frankfurt will take the fight to Kompany’s men in an attempt to unsettle them. Time will tell whether or not that bold strategy works, but it should produce a highly entertaining game.

Kane in fantastic form
Kane turns 33 next year but he is showing no signs of slowing down.
If this is to be his last season as a Bayern Munich player (rumours of a Premier League return have circulated for a couple of months now), Kane is determined to go out on a high.
Perhaps the striker will only be truly satisfied if he wins the Champions League with the German giants.
On an individual basis, though, you cannot help but be impressed by his return of 102 goals in 105 games.
His record this term reads a preposterous: played nine, scored 17. Kane notched twice against Pafos on Tuesday. Would anyone be surprised if he does the same against Frankfurt?
