Taylor Swift made a stylish stop at former Spice Girl Emma Bunton’s Heart Radio show as she kicked off her U.K. promo tour for her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.

The pop star, 35, appeared impeccably polished in a fashion-forward look that blended understated glamour with lyrical Easter eggs for eagle-eyed fans in a photo captured during her visit on Friday, October 3.

Swift wore a designer outfit with jewelry that appeared to be a nod to one of her latest tracks, rocking a fall-friendly Cashmere V Neck Sweater ($1300) from YSL with the Conan Check miniskirt from clothing brand A.L.C., which retails for around $395.00.

For her accessories, she opted for a Chanel Pendant Necklace ($1,398) paired with two Cartier pieces — the Love Bracelet ($6,630) and Santos Demoiselle Watch ($18,330).

Untangling Taylor Swift and Elizabeth Taylor's Connection Amid 'Showgirl'

Swift’s Cartier arm candy came after the release of her song “Elizabeth Taylor,” which references the famed jeweler and watchmaker.

“Hey-ey, what could you possibly get for the girl who has everything and nothing all at once? / Babe, I would trade the Cartier for someone to trust (Just kidding),” she sings about searching for a “forever” type of love in a verse also believed to be an ode to her romance with NFL star fiancé Travis Kelce.

“We hit the best booth at Musso and Frank’s / They say I’m bad news, I just say, ‘Thanks’ / And you look at me like you’re hypnotized / And I think you know why,” Swift continues.

The track marks the second song on her 12th studio album and pays homage to the iconic actress Elizabeth Taylor, who was also known for her love life during the height of her fame.

Swift confirmed “Elizabeth Taylor” was the first Showgirl song she wrote during an Apple Music behind-the-scenes featurette released on Friday.

Her loyal fans, of course, were quick to point out the similarities between Swift and the screen icon on X.

“Elizabeth Taylor: famous child star in the 1940s and even more of a superstar in the 1950s,” one social media user remarked. “Tay rose to fame at 16 and got even bigger 10 and 20 years later. [Elizabeth] was married seven times. Tay could touch on this with the media’s perception of her and her partners throughout her career.” (Taylor was married eight times to seven men.)

During Swift’s visit to the Heart Radio show cohosted by Bunton, the songstress sweetly fangirled over her fellow pop star.

“It’s so crazy to actually get to be in the same room as you because I was telling you, I had your doll,” Swift said, referring to her ‘90s Spice Girls Barbie. “The Baby Spice doll, and it was, like, my favorite one. We would all fight over who got to be you amongst the girls who were blonde.”

Bunton, for her part, returned the praise while noting that she attended Swift’s Eras Tour not once, but twice.

“I was next to your mom and dad, and it was so lovely,” Bunton, 49, shared about her London concert. “We had such a lovely night, we chatted.”
