The Golden State Warriors announced that De'Anthony Melton will be re-evaluated in four weeks. Melton is continuing to recover from the ACL tear he suffered last season. The Warriors signed Melton this week to a two-year contract.
Last season, Golden State signed the veteran combo guard using the Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception. Melton was seen a key rotation player, and had started two consecutive games, when he tore his ACL in mid-November.
The Warriors are reportedly happy with where Melton is at in his recovery from surgery. The team plans to be cautious with the veteran guard until he's fully cleared to return.
