The pop icon, 35, was seen cozying up to fiancé Travis Kelce in a candid photo shared by a friend on Thursday, October 2, just hours before the highly anticipated release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
Dressed in a plaid miniskirt, a black crop top with spaghetti straps and black belted ankle boots, Swift’s fashion was equal parts playful and effortlessly cool. The singer’s hair was in soft, loose waves that draped over her shoulders while her curtain bangs framed her face. She completed her vintage-inspired look with a cat eye and her signature red lip.
“Love Over Hate,” Jeremiah Sims captioned the now-viral shot shared via Instagram. When one commenter asked, “Omg you met Taylor Swift?!” he replied, “That’s my blood cousin.”

Looking ahead, an 89-minute event titled “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” will soon run in theaters from October 3 to 5, according to the film’s website.
Swift first dished about her upcoming album during a chat with her then-boyfriend and his brother, Jason Kelce, on the August 13 episode of their “New Heights” podcast.

Swift and Kelce are now gearing up for their nuptials, an insider revealed to Us last month, although nothing is set in stone yet.
“It’s still in the very early planning stages. There is no venue or location set yet,” the tipster spilled, adding that the big day is “likely going to be early next year.”
“She is having so much fun researching venues and locations,” the source continued. “She’s in the ideation phase and enjoying it because she’s so creative.”
