Fans on social media are pointing out the Only Murders in the Building star, 33, was carrying a symbolic bouquet of flowers when she married Benny Blanco on Saturday, September 27.
Gomez beamed while holding a lily of the valley assortment as she posed for photos leading up to her star-studded ceremony, which took place at the gorgeous Sea Crest Nursery in front of 170 guests including friends, family and loved ones in Santa Barbara, California.

Event planner, designer and florist Tyler Speier echoed that sentiment in an interview with People on Monday, September 29, noting that lily of the valley “represents love, purity and renewal.”
“They are so delicate and a classic bridal bouquet choice,” added the owner and creative director of Tyler Speier Events. “They are a timeless choice for bridal bouquets and have been popular over many decades.”
Plus, lily of the valley is a go-to choice for A-listers and royal elite. “Kate Middleton carried the flower, Grace Kelly, and now modern-day Hollywood stars are embracing the look too,” he shared. “The flowers in the bouquet are central for designing the rest of the wedding florals.”
“They need to complement — and not overpower — the bridal gown. They also need to be practical, in my opinion, as bouquets can get heavy, and if a bride wants to carry her blooms through all the photos and the ceremony, we want the blooms to be comfortable to hold,” Speier explained. “In general, I lean towards more petite bouquets so the bridal fashion can shine.”
Gomez wore two custom Ralph Lauren dresses for her big day, opting for one gorgeous shoulder-baring design with a macrame collar as well as another featuring hand-applied lace flowers in addition to a spray-painted corset base.

An insider exclusively told Us Weekly that Taylor Swift celebrated seeing her longtime BFF find her soulmate in Blanco, 37, while taking the microphone at the soiree.
“Taylor gave an extremely heartfelt speech at the wedding,” a source told Us. “She went into depth and talked about how over the years she saw Selena on the floor crying, mentioning exes, Selena having a broken heart and saying how happy she is that Selena has Benny now.”
