Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s star-studded wedding weekend was one for the books.
The couple tied the knot on Saturday, September 27, in Santa Barbara, California, surrounded by about 170 of their loved ones — including Gomez’s family from Texas, Blanco’s inner circle and several A-listers, a source exclusively told Us Weekly.
As Gomez and Blanco said “I do,” the Only Murders in the Building star was “sobbing and crying so hard,” leaving not one dry eye in the room. “Everyone there was sobbing, and it was extremely emotional,” the source said.
Blanco, meanwhile, had “much shorter” vows, in which he even made a joke about how they were not going to be “as long” as Gomez’s speech. “They were still very heartfelt and sweet, and Selena bawled her eyes out,” the insider noted.
Following more than one year of dating, Gomez shared her engagement to Blanco in December 2024. Scroll down for all the details of Gomez and Blanco’s nuptials:

Full-Circle Rehearsal Dinner
Gomez and Blanco’s wedding kicked off on Friday, September 26, with a sit-down formal dinner inside a tent at Hope Ranch in Santa Barbara. The evening was a “much smaller, intimate group,” the source shared.
As a nod to their early dates at a Thai restaurant, Gomez and Blanco catered Thai food — including pad Thai, which they both “love.”
Honoring Selena Gomez’s Sister
While sharing his vows at the ceremony, Blanco made sure to pay tribute to Gomez’s 12-year-old sister, Gracie, by giving her a coupon book for “whatever she needs,” the insider said.
“If she needed something from them like a day to hang out or a shopping spree, Gracie could use a coupon with them for whatever she needed,” the source shared. “It was very sweet, and everyone was crying over that too.”
The ‘Eclectic’ Decor
The insider shared that the decor was “very eclectic,” with Blanco planning the entire wedding. “It was very much his style and was similar to the decor in their Beverly Hills home,” the source added. “He is very into design and loved doing it.”
Inside, there were Persian rugs — remember Blanco’s 2024 pedicure featuring a fuzzy fringe? — and florals done in browns, whites and reds. The decor also included “a lot of velvet elements,” the source shared, explaining there were velvet couches “everywhere.”
“They had rugs and carpet everywhere because Benny does not like to wear shoes,” the insider noted, adding that both Blanco and Gomez had their shoes off for the majority of the evening.

Choreographed Barefoot 1st Dance
Gomez and Blanco choreographed a barefoot first dance featuring elements similar to Dirty Dancing and Grease. For the routine, Gomez changed into a mid-length vintage white dress. “Everyone was in awe,” the source shared.
Not a Typical ‘Celebrity’ Wedding
The reception, which was not a formal seated dinner, was held in a tent. Cocktail tables were “everywhere,” and Nobu catered the meal — which included sushi, fish dishes and steak, the source shared. For dessert, guests could enjoy an “elaborate” ice cream sundae bar.
It was a late night with festivities lasting until the early hours of the morning, and featured Mark Ronson DJing and a singer who performed Barry White’s “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe.”
All the guests participated in a Jewish hora dance — including Paul Rudd, Paris Hilton and Steve Martin, who were seen in the middle holding hands with family members. “Everyone was dancing barefoot, having the best time,” the source shared.
“The wedding was pretty simple and not your typical ‘celebrity’ lavish wedding,” the insider added. “They both just wanted to dance and have fun, and you could feel so much love from them.”
