Camp Rock 3 will see a new generation of campers attend the fictional summer music camp with appearances from some of your favorite Disney Channel stars.
It was announced in September 2025 that the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato would be executive producing the third movie in the franchise. Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas, portrayed Jason, Nate and Shane Gray, a.k.a. Connect 3, respectively, in the first two movies, alongside Lovato’s Mitchie Torres.
Filming has already begun on the third highly anticipated musical film, with Disney sharing a video of the Jonas Brothers on set along with the caption, “We’re back!! #CampRock3 is now in production 🎤,” via Instagram in September 2025.

What Is ‘Camp Rock 3’ About?
“The story picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing,” per a press release. “As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances.”
Who Is in the ‘Camp Rock 3’ Cast?
In addition to the Jonas Brothers appearing as guest stars in the film, some new campers will be making their Camp Rock debut. Sherry Cola was cast as Lark. Liamani Segura will be playing a character named Sage, while Malachi Barton will star as Fletch. Lumi Pollack will be portraying Rosie, while Hudson Stone was cast as Desi. Casey Trotter will be playing Cliff, with Brooklynn Pitts as Callie and Ava Jean as Madison.
It was also confirmed that Maria Canals-Barrera will be returning as Connie Torres, Mitchie’s mother. While Lovato was confirmed as a producer, it has not yet been revealed if she will appear on screen.

Who Is Directing ‘Camp Rock 3’?
Veronica Rodriguez signed on to direct the movie, which was written by Eydie Faye. It is produced by Disney Branded Television, and will feature choreography by Jamal Sims. Tim Federle also serves as an executive producer alongside the Jonas Brothers, Lovato, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman and Gary Marsh.

How Did ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’ End?
Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam introduced a rivalry between Camp Rock and neighboring Camp Star. Camp Star had more funding and an even bigger focus on practicing music instead of other team-building activities. The two camps partook in a televised competition to see which camp could put on the better performance, and they were told if Camp Rock lost, the place would likely be shut down for good.
Leaders at Camp Star were exposed for trying to rig the voting system, and they still ended up winning the contest. Camp Rock had one final bonfire to say goodbye to the place they’d come to know and love. The bonfire drew the attention of campers from Camp Star, who were impressed with the camaraderie at the campground. Several Camp Star members pledged to join Camp Rock, saving the camp from closing.
