Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are now a family of three!
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post on Thursday, August 21. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
The message concluded, “And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”
Brown, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, tied the knot in 2024 after two years of dating. Months before, Brown gushed over how she knew Bongivoi was The One.

“I was interested in him and wanted to know more,” she told The Sunday Times in August 2023 of their first conversation, which took place on Instagram. “As soon as we spoke I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life. After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side.”
Brown has been candid through the years about her desire to start a family. In March, Brown gushed that she was excited to begin the next chapter of her life with Bongiovi.

“My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” Brown said on the “Smartless” podcast, per People. “Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”
She continued, “And my nan, my grandmother … she was a huge part of my life. And so, yeah, I mean, Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally. It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married.’ So that was his thing.”

Brown explained that she and Bongiovi — whose dad is legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi — hope to have a large family since they both grew up with three siblings.
“My thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family,” Brown said. “I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different [than] adopting.”
