Tiffany Haddish finally breaks her silence on her viral joint post with her pal, Jason Lee.
The comedian/actress recently got fans talking after she and Lee posted pictures of themselves posing with a baby. The pair looked like a happy couple with the child appearing comfortable in their presence.
The shocking images naturally sparked speculations that Tiffany Haddish had secretly welcomed a baby with Jason Lee. However, the entertainer shut down these theories with her signature humor.
Tiffany Haddish Laughs Off The Secret Baby Rumors

Haddish resumed her guest-hosting role on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" for the show's August 19 episode, where she addressed the baby rumors in her opening monologue. She noted her joint post with Lee went so viral that her family wondered if she had a secret child.
"Even my own relatives were asking if I had a secret baby, which is kind of insulting because they are all living in my house and blocking me from getting any d-ck," Haddish joked. She then asked Lee, who joined the segment as an audience member, what he thought about the speculations.
The "Hollywood Unlocked" founder confirmed there was nothing between him and Haddish, claiming "the whole world has lost their mind over this beautiful baby."
Haddish, per PEOPLE, noted she didn't mind the rumors and offered to have a baby with Lee. However, her pal vehemently denied the offer, stressing, "I'm still gay."
The Comedian Is Open To Having A Baby
After Lee refused her offer, Haddish doubled down on the false secret baby speculations. She stressed that she was not a mom but was open to welcoming a baby. She even shared her preferred baby daddies, naming Jason Momoa, Tom Cruise, Pedro Pascal, and more A-listers.
As stated, the baby rumors began after Haddish and Lee dropped a joint Instagram post that saw them posing with a cute child. They posed side by side in the August 4 update, with the actress holding the baby while the podcaster held the baby stroller. "Cats out the bag [red heart emoji]," they captioned the snaps.
The adorable pictures sparked over a thousand messages from fans who wondered if Haddish and Lee had secretly welcomed a baby, while others believed they were joking.
"What is the cat because I just see you and Tiff with someone's baby," an IG user wrote.
Inside Fans' Hilarious Reactions To The Baby Post
The hilarious reactions to the post continued with a makeup artist, Rolexis "Delaney" Schinsing, joining the joke. "Congratulations!! The baby shower was off the chains. The gift card is from me," she teased. "Someone go get the cat, I got questions," a fan added.
Another IG user believed Haddish and Lee had made a baby, recalling they once claimed they would. "Y'all did NOT go half on a baby right now!! Omg I'm screaming! I'm looking for a resemblance!!!!" a fan wrote.
"She said she wanted a baby with you!! Did you all get a surrogate?" someone wondered. The jokes continued with a fan speculating the baby looked like John Legend. "This a movie coming out soon? Because I know you fkn lyin'!" an Instagram user added.
The TV Personality Gave Pregnancy A Chance

The baby rumors come a year after Haddish opened up about her fertility struggles. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she shared her endometriosis journey in an interview ahead of her "I Curse You With Joy" memoir's release.
Haddish explained that she suffered from painful period cramps for years until doctors diagnosed her with endometriosis in 2024. The condition affected more than her menstruation, including her fertility, causing her to suffer miscarriages.
The TV personality confessed that she gave each pregnancy a chance despite not wanting to be a mother. Unfortunately, her reproductive issues made it impossible for her to keep her babies despite prioritizing her health and being cautious.
Tiffany Haddish's Former Pal Loses Defamation Lawsuit

Months before the baby drama, The Blast shared that Haddish had emerged victorious in her legal issues with her former pal, Trizah Morris. The drama began after Morris's children had accused Haddish and Aries Spears of sexualizing them in a skit.
Although Haddish and Spears escaped the children's scathing allegations, Morris filed a $1 million defamation lawsuit against them in 2023. The plaintiff argued that she was defamed when the pair defended themselves against her children's accusations.
A judge ruled in favor of Haddish and Spears, ordering Morris to pay their legal fees. The "Girls Trip" actress scored $111,165 and $30.46 in daily interest until the debt was paid. Spears received $62,394.20 in legal costs and $17.09 daily interest until the debt was paid.
