Littler won the New Zealand Darts Masters on Saturday and by Tuesday, he had travelled back to the UK from Down Under and was pitchside watching some football.

He took some time to pose for photos with fans and members of the Eagle Sports development squad at the fixture.

The club then posted on social media about the 18-year-old’s visit.

They wrote: “Fantastic to see @LukeTheNuke180 down at The Edintervention Recreation Ground last night, watching our Development fixture v Bruche Athletic.

“Despite only just being back from New Zealand, he took time out to have photos with some of our youth team players.”

Eagle Sports’ youth side went on to play out a 2-2 draw in their game against Bruche Athletic.

The senior team are currently in the seventh tier of English non-league, competing in the Cheshire Football League.

Littler is an avid football fan and he’s very public about his love for Manchester United.

He paraded his World Championship trophy around Old Trafford in January and has been giving the Red Devils some transfer advice on talkSPORT this summer.

The reigning Premier League champion is also a big fan of Rugby League, supporting his beloved Warrington Wolves.

Littler’s latest results

Littler just can’t seem to stop winning and he picked up another two World Series victories in Australia and New Zealand.

He claimed victory in Australia on August 20 for the first time in his career as he beat Mike De Decker in the final.

De Decker lost 8-4 to the teenager, who beat Haupai Puha, Damon Heta and Stephen Bunting en route to victory.

Littler then made it two from two Down Under, as he won yet again in New Zealand.

He beat defending champion Luke Humphries 8-4 in the final, averaging 115 to overcome the World No.1.

Wins against De Decker again and Gerwyn Price preceded another trophy lift for darts’ biggest name.

What’s next for Littler?

After winning back-to-back World Series events, Littler is now eyeing another success in the World Series of Darts Finals.

The Finals are scheduled to take place from September 12-14, and they will be held in Amsterdam.

But, before that, there are some PDC Tour and PDC European Tour events that he could choose to play in.

And the Players’ Championship is coming up on August 24-25, which is an event that he finished runner-up to Humphries last year.

One event that Littler won’t be playing in though, is the PDC World Youth Championship.

He has opted to skip the event for the second year in a row after winning the title in 2023, aged 16.
