Brandon Blackstock’s legacy lives on, and his recently revealed partner, Brittney Marie Jones, alongside friends, are honoring him.

The talent manager passed away on August 7 after a three-year battle with melanoma, leaving behind four children. Two weeks later, Blackstock’s friends are remembering him fondly.

However, it seems his ex-wife, Kelly Clarkson, was missing from the celebration.

Over the weekend, Jones and close pals of the deceased manager celebrated the life he lived. The special moment was held at Blackstock’s residence in Montana, and an informant disclosed it was “very private” with loved ones “sharing memories of Brandon and remembering how much he meant to them."

The insider recalled the emotional gathering, noting that it was filled with tears and laughter as loved ones told heartwarming tales of Blackstock’s “pranks and sense of humor.”

The source added, “It was special for everyone to spend time in Montana walking and hiking the roads Brandon loved so much, and to gather at his home to remember him,” per US Weekly

While the remembrance had Blackstock’s pals in attendance, it is unclear whether his ex-wife, Clarkson, participated, as she was not mentioned in the obituary.

Shane Tarleton, who was present at the memorial, documented the moment with an Instagram story, which has since expired. Tarleton posted a photo showing people gathered for the event sitting around a fire pit, and very noticeable, the Grammy winner was missing from the picture.

"@brandonblackstock would've loved this night so much," Tarleton wrote in a caption across the image. "So many of his fav people in his backyard around a campfire at sunset."

Another Instagram post from Blackstock’s friend, Amanda Craig, showed Craig and her husband at the ceremony. In the accompanying caption, the hairstylist left a tribute. She wrote, "We understand why you loved it here so much. Celebrating your wonderful life over the weekend was a true gift. We love you BB!"

There was also no sighting of the "Stronger" songstress.

The intimate celebration of Blackstock’s life comes a few days after his obituary shockingly revealed he was in a relationship with Jones.

As The Blast previously reported, the obituary documented that the former music executive retired to the “mountains and cowboy way of life” which he had always desired. Fortunately, in Butte, Montana, he found a home and love with Jones.

The statement further unveiled that the deceased businessman, alongside his lover, who became his business partner, began building Headwater Livestock Auction and The Valley View Rodeo in Bozeman. A report from the rodeo’s business described Jones as Clarkson’s “former assistant.”

Additionally, Jones' LinkedIn profile described her as a person who “managed day to day for artist, Kelly Clarkson, under manager, Brandon Blackstock, in Los Angeles for music and television."

She was also an executive assistant for Blackstock’s cattle operations in Montana.

Following revelations about the producer’s quiet relationship with her former employee, Clarkson was reportedly left disappointed. According to The Blast, a source disclosed how the mom-of-two felt, stating that it added to her heartbreak about how her marriage with Blackstock ended.

According to the informant, the reason for her split with Blackstock “was a point of no return,” even though the divorce filing cited “irreconcilable differences.”

Although heartbroken that her late ex-husband moved on with someone she once knew, the "American Idol" winner holds no resentment toward her past assistant and wants no drama with her fanbase.

Before his demise, the dad-of-four prioritized spending time with his family.  As The Blast reported, Clarkson, who shares two kids with Blackstock, River, 11, and Remington, 9, always took them to see him.

However, she was not Blackstock’s primary caregiver during his health challenges. The former couple divorced in 2022, with Clarkson winning their $10 million ranch as a settlement. Shortly after, Blackstock purchased a $1.8 million property.

The secluded residence, a four-bedroom, three-bath ranch set on more than 41 acres, boasts soaring ceilings and breathtaking mountain views. Blackstock lived there until his death.
