Hulu’s Are You My First is all about virgins looking for love — but did any season 1 contestants sleep with each other on screen?

The reality show, which premiered on Monday, August 18, was described as a new dating experiment “where virgins navigate love, lust and losing it.”

“In this groundbreaking new dating experiment, the largest, hottest group of virgins ever assembled search for intimacy, love — and maybe their first — in a tropical paradise designed just for them,” the synopsis read. “For the first time, they’re free to explore their connections without judgment, allowing these sexy young singles to embark on a heated yet heartfelt journey packed with romantic dates, revealing challenges, and new love interests eager to find ‘the one.’ Who will find that special someone? And who will go home hot, bothered and heartbroken?”

Hosts Colton Underwood and Kaitlyn Bristowe helped each contestant on their journey, which involved exploring connections, pairing up and even eliminating each other in what the show referred to as “virgin sacrifices.”

By the finale, Brooklyn and Layne were still a couple — as were Michael and Rachael. While Sara and Jake made it to the last episode, they ultimately called it quits instead of choosing to remain committed to each other.

Spoiler alert! Despite the show leading to two pairings — who may or may not still be together — it didn’t inspire any hookups on screen. In fact, Colton, 33, and Kaitlyn, 40, poked fun at their success rate in the last scene of the show.

“We really pushed them out of their comfort zones,” Kaitlyn said before Colton joked, “We have done everything except guide it in at this point.”

Kaitlyn then asked if they failed “because no one had sex.” Colton, however, noted that they could still make that happen in a possible second season.

Before the show premiered, Colton spoke about the concept of the show.

“I always found the topic of virginity so interesting because it, sort of, consumed a lot of the dates and time that I spent when I was dating women,” the former Bachelor, who was a virgin while filming his season in 2018, explained on the “Two Parents and a Pod” podcast earlier this month. “For all of these virgins to come together to one place to date without having to feel that shame or stigma that was going to come up [on a date].”

Colton, who is now married to husband Jordan C. Brown, added that sometimes he would share his virginity status only to watch “the vibe shift in a date.”

“It’s happened to me,” he recalled. “For us to provide this space for these virgins to date without shame, to date without stigma, to push boundaries [and] to see how it feels in a safe way, knowing that the other person has something in common with you was so special. I’m really excited for America to meet these people.”
